What does speed technology through ARIX segments mean?
In standard core bits the diamond grains are randomly distributed in the segment. In our ARIX Speed core bits the diamonds are arranged and placed at exact distances (set diamond). This offers unbeatable advantages in use:
- Maximum drilling speed (ARIX power): Every single diamond stands in the optimal cutting position and removes material evenly. This noticeably reduces cutting resistance and ensures extremely fast work.
- Perfect for soft impact & micro impact: The ordered ARIX structure withstands the high-frequency impact pulses of soft-impact core drilling motors. The segments re-sharpen evenly during rotation without glazing.
- 330 mm working length for standard wall thicknesses: Ideally dimensioned for deep openings in concrete, reinforced concrete and thick masonry – without any extension.

Application note for the construction site
To get the full performance of the ARIX segments when dry drilling, always use a powerful dust extractor (class M). The airflow cools the bit head and reliably carries the fine drilling dust out of the 330 mm shaft.
