Developed especially for effortless core drilling in hard sand-lime brick, this soft-impact diamond core bit drills just as reliably in concrete, hollow clay brick, reinforced concrete, washed concrete or brick. Thanks to high-quality diamonds and the special segment geometry, the soft-impact dry core bit drills extremely fast and clean. The laser-welded turbo segments give the premium core bit the highest protection against segment loss. Friction in the hole is reduced by the spiral bit body, and less heat is generated during drilling. Thanks to the 1/4" UNC female thread, the soft-impact dry core bit fits all hand-held core drilling units and soft-impact core drilling machines with 1 1/4" UNC male thread. In combination with a soft-impact core drilling machine and a dust extractor, the soft-impact diamond core bit is ideal for core drilling to a depth of up to 300 mm in inhabited rooms.

Clean working with soft impact
Diamond dry core drilling machines with soft impact enable clean working (together with an extractor and the matching core bit) when drilling into hard materials. Normally such holes are drilled with core drilling machines without impact, where the diamond core bit is flushed with water for cooling. Soft-impact core drilling machines generate a gentle impact at a very high frequency, so you can drill cores in reinforced concrete without complicated water supply while the surroundings stay dry and dust-free. This technique is therefore ideal for drilling in inhabited rooms, offices or doctors' surgeries. With shorter set-up times and less cleaning work you also save time and money when using soft-impact technology.
